Again, as Steve and I are trying to conserve $$, we decided that instead of going to get professional photos taken for Christmas - we'd do our own. Thankfully my mom had started to set up her Christmas tree this past weekend so I was able to get these taken at her house (we haven't even BEGUN to get our decorations started... hopefully this weekend). But, we got a few good ones that we really liked. One day I hope to get professional pictures taken. After all of the horror stories and expense though I am a bit hesitant.
Also, just an FYI... Mandy has her second round of chemo today so please send good thoughts and vibes her way.
Without further ado, here are just a few of the pics I took...

Awwww. Too cute! We are supposed to be going today to get Parker some professional ones....I'm pretty anxious about it. I guess if they turn out horrible, we don't buy them! :)
Oh - and Andy Wright lives on the east side with his girlfriend of several years (go figure) and works at Ovation, I think.
Very cute! I especially like the first one of him touching the tree - that one looks professional to me! We are also trying to take our own this year so wish us luck. We are buying our tree tonight so hopefully we'll take them in the next few days!
We didn't get formal shots of Chris until 6 months old, and I regret not getting teensy professional baby shots of him, it was just the idea of an outfit change and the ostomy, in those days, going in public was a nightmare. Now we do Mother's Day (spring) pics and Christmas/Birthday pics (since they fall about the same time). I don't find that the expense is too crazy. We spent $30 at Target, scanned the 8X10s in, and made wallet copies for extras, or scanned them in to place on our homemade Christmas cards. I know, horribly illegal, but it worked, and somehow they always get him to smile better than I can catch with the camera. Suellen's right, you only have to or need to buy the ones that you like.
