Easter Sunday was beautiful and we decided to make the most of it by stopping by Butler on our way home from Easter dinner at my parents house.
I had heard about how the school was all decked out for the final four and we decided to go and soak up some of the energy ourselves. Since we didn't have tickets to the big game on Monday and weren't sure where we were going to be watching the big game (as it turned out, Hinkle), we decided to at least try to feel a part of it by walking through campus...
The Pi Phi house... we didn't stop, so I didn't get a better picture, but they had all of these wooden bulldog cutouts painted and decorated - super cute....
The fountain in the middle of campus was festively dyed blue.
Of course we had to be typical alumni and put our kiddo on the bulldog for a photo op... negative: the bulldog's eyes had been attacked by sidewalk chalk so he looked evil... positive: like the trees around campus, he had festive blue bows tied on him, and some other touristy photo op people gave Brett a blue and white pom pom, which he decided to shake the rest of the time we were on campus
And, back to where it all began, good ole' Hinkle Fieldhouse.
Next post... watching the big game...

You've got to love a good "sitting on the bulldog" picture. I even have one of Ben and I from our wedding!
